Laminating

Infrared lamination is a process used in the glass, textile, and automotive industries to give products stability and make them more durable.

Infrared heat helps to create a laminated film that is applied to the material itself and is then properly adhered.

Infrared technology ensures a quick, energy efficient way of activating the adhesive along with giving the best adhesion possible.

A variety of IR lamps can be used for this application from standard quartz linear lamps along with the traditional bulb shaped IR lamps.

Glass Printing

Ultraviolet technology can be used for printing onto glass.

Once the glass has gone through a proper pre-treatment process the inks can be applied before the UV curing can take place.

UV allows for a very, smart professional finish and is preferred to IR technology in this field.

This process is commonly used for beverage bottles, food jars, perfume bottles and many more.

Ink Drying

Both Ultraviolet and Infrared can be used for the curing and drying of inks. The exact emitter to use varies depending on the inks themselves and the finish required.

UV lamps are most commonly used for this application and the exact wavelength to install also is dependent on the inks and finish required e.g., gallium doped lamp is used for thicker inks and a glossier finish.

We can offer replacements to your existing systems as well as creating a bespoke solution for what you need which could even incorporate our brand-new UV LED curing modules as a complete new install.

T-Shirt Printing

At Victory, we pride ourselves in being at the fore front of Infrared technology for the T-shirt printing industry.

We were the pioneers of the Fast Response Medium Wave NDA lamps which were specifically designed for the textile industry.

They give an instant heat output with a higher MW output than other conventional Infrared lamps.

It is ideal for the drying of inks onto T-shirts given the quick drying speed and energy efficiency of the technology within the screen printing process.

Can Printing

Ultraviolet technology can be used for curing specialist inks onto cans.

UV for this application has many clear benefits including reduce running costs, reducing the level of pollution, saves space compared to other systems on top of being much easier to use and maintain.

This process is most commonly used for the beverage industry and we can work with these manufacturers to create the best system for them that will be of significant benefit to the production process.
